- Req#: R14527
- Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Works directly with patients to guide exercise plans and workouts. Works directly with patients to support healthy lifestyle changes.
- Evaluates the learning needs of the patient and/or family and provides the patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.
Active Maine RN license (or ability to obtain promptly) – required
5+ years of nursing experience – preferred
ACLS certification – preferred
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
A passion for patient education and preventive care

Location: Alfond Center for Health – Augusta, ME (with occasional coverage at Thayer Center for Health – Waterville, ME)
