What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a vital connector and communicator between patients, healthcare providers, and office staff
- Manage patient comments, concerns, and requests in a secure virtual messaging platform
- Connect patients with necessary services within the healthcare organization
- Utilize electronic medical records to understand diagnosis, treatment, and medications
- Ensure complete resolution to patient questions or concerns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare environment or two years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge and skills related to the Care Advocate role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adhere to professional and ethical standards of practice
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
- Graduation from an accredited bachelor's degree program
