      Job summary

      We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the successful delivery of clinical research initiatives. This pivotal role involves coordinating diverse research-related activities while ensuring strict adherence to protocols and offering exceptional support to participating practices.

      Qualifications and Skills:

      Exceptional organisational and communication abilities.

      Proven ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities efficiently.

      Proficiency in clinical reporting systems using SystmOne. (Preferred)

      Willingness to travel to facilitate study promotion and patient engagement activities.

      Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport with patients and different GP practices.

      Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Initiative and independence in handling responsibilities and problem-solving.

      An understanding of data coordination and collection, with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity. High attention to detail and a systematic, methodical approach to tasks.

      Desirable Skills:

      Solid understanding of medical and clinical terminology to effectively support research activities.

      Main duties of the job

      Key Responsibilities:

      Coordinate Expressions of Interest (EOI)

      Submit and manage EOIs for studies following specific protocols, ensuring a separate submission is completed for each participating practice.

      Clinical Reporting: Import, analyse, and run clinical reports using SystmOne systems to support research activities.

      Patient Outreach: Send timely and accurate invitations to eligible patients via text, email, and post.

      Study Promotion: Drive engagement by creating and distributing promotional materials, including posters, flyers, and emails. Some travel may be required, and a valid drivers license is desirable.

      Financial Claims: Prepare and submit research support cost claims on behalf of practices with precision and attention to detail.

      Dashboard Management: Regularly update practices' research dashboards to ensure accurate tracking of progress and project status.

      General

      The post holder may be required to undertake additional duties not identified here to meet the needs of the service however these would not exceed the level expected at this grade.

      IMP Healthcare We are a Primary Care Network (PCN) with 9 member GP practices in the Lincolnshire areas. A PCN are a group of GP practices working together to provide NHS services to our patients. IMP Healthcare currently provide the following services to over 70,000 patients: Mental Health, Social Prescribing, Enhanced Health in Care Homes, House Bound patients services, clinical pharmacy, first contact physiotherapy. We also provide an Extended Access service. Patients can access appointments outside of core GP hours.
