Job summary
Our care navigators are the first point of contact and they are crucial to the effective running of the surgery. It is important that the right applicant is able to communicate effectively at all levels and remains calm under pressure. Excellent organisational and IT skills are required.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of this role are to take calls from patients and direct them to the most appropriate team for their needs, utilising many additional services as well as general practice teams.

Farnham Medical Centre is a large practice situated in South Shields. We have over 17000 patients and have a team of GPs, nurses and admin staff to coordinate their care.

The successful applicant will need to be able to efficiently switch between systems in order to efficiently navigate the patient to the correct service for their needs.
