      The Care Team Assistant (CTA) provides support to all clinic members of the care team to enhance both the care team and patient experience. We are anticipating an early November start date.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Greet and prepare patients for provider
      • Obtain and record vital signs and other required information into our electronic health record (EHR)
      • Perform CLIA waived testing including initial controls and process cultures for send outs
      • Instruct patients on clean catch urine collection
      • Maintaining medical and immunization records (reviewing and reconciling in various systems)
      • Order, record, and administer immunizations after appropriate training
      • Prepare, stock, and maintain examination rooms
      • Perform finger/heel sticks to collect newborn screens, hemoglobin’s, etc.
      • Page specialty providers at SCH or another local specialist
      • Create correspondence notes requiring provider signatures
      • Prepare forms for provider signature, including completion of non-clinical decision-making portions
      • Phone calls to patients, parents, or other medical entities
      • Inform patients of negative/normal lab or test results, under supervision
      • Clean exam rooms and personal space per CDC and Allegro guidelines
      • Monitor provider in/out boxes and EHR task filter. Ensure tasks are being completed daily
      • Prepare forms for provider signature, including completion of non-clinical decision-making sections
      • Phone call to patients, parents, or other medical entities as appropriate
      • Schedule patient appointments
      • Retrieve any urgent medical records (i.e. hospital, ER follow-up) for relevant appointments
      • Assist with autoclaving duties
      • Ability to assist front desk for check-in as needed
      • Consistent proactive approach to communication
      • Adapt to the need of individual clinic and care team
      • Practice standard precautions per Allegro Policies and Procedures
      • Maintain positive attitude and working relationships
      • Other duties as assigned
      • Previous experience or professional interest in medicine/pediatrics required
      • Must adhere to all Allegro Pediatrics employee health screening policies
      • The person in this position must always demonstrate professionalism and integrity
      • Must be willing to travel to all clinics, if necessary
      • Must be available to work on weekend and holiday rotations
      • Proficient computer skills as needed for the position
      • Full-time position with at least 1-year commitment
      • Excellent customer service skills
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Excellent interpersonal/people skills
      • Strong organizational/multi-tasking skills
      • Enjoy working in a fast-paced patient focused environment with ongoing changes
      • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to all clinics as staffing needs change
      • Must be 18 years of age or older

        • Drug testing in compliance with Washington State Bill 5123 for this safety-sensitive position.
      • To uphold safety for all employees and patients, we continue to require vaccination status for all new hires, including remote or hybrid schedules, at time of hire and annually
        • Current COVID booster, or as newly released, and annually each fall
        • We require flu immunizations at time of hire, or as newly released, and annually each fall
        • Various other immunization requirements that we can discuss during your interview
        • All employees are currently required to wear a surgical, KN95 or N95 mask at all times while in clinic, patient facing
