- Maintain an active lead database to ensure sufficient job opportunities for students and graduates
- Develop relationships with potential employers and/or internship sites
- Coordinate and schedule employer interviews with students and graduates
- Make follow-up calls regarding interview outcomes and employment confirmation
- Maintain consistent contact with graduates until employment is successf ully secured within their field of study

Guide students through their entire career journey - from interview skills and business etiquette to resume development and job placement.
- Relationship Building Excellence: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both students and industry employers, serving as a trusted bridge between education and workforce needs
- Student Development Focus: Passion for coaching and mentoring students through career preparation, including interview skills, professional development, and job search strategies
- Industry Adaptability: Quick learner who can rapidly understand technical program requirements and industry-specific employer needs in welding and HVAC sectors
- Collaborative Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills to work seamlessly within our tight-knit, highly collaborative placement team while managing shared program responsibilities
- Experience in job placement, recruiting, or talent acquisition with demonstrated success in connecting candidates with employers and achieving placement metrics
- Familiarity with online job searches and tools
- Able to work at least one night per week
- Associate degree or related work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience using social media platforms
- Experience with CampusVue - a plus

This role will collaborate closely with our current HVAC Advisor and Welding Advisor managing 50% of Welding placements and 50% of HVAC placements. You will work as part of our highly collaborative 7-person team.
