      Department Overview:

      Husband and wife of 50 years. Husband is a civil engineer and veteran, and wife is a former healthcare professional. Caregiver assistance is for the wife only.

      Anticipated Hours Per Week

      15-20

      Schedule:

      This is a part time position with flexible hours. We are looking for a caregiver who can come occasional weekday mornings from approximately 9am to 1pm, with the days and times being flexible. Additional hours requested for occasional evenings or weekends with advance notice.

      Salary/Wage Range:

      Hourly $15.00 to $25.00

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      Looking for part-time help for my wife who is 77 and is bed-ridden due to MS. The times needed would be occasional weekdays from 9AM to 1 PM and an occasional a total week day or a weekend day. She needs help eating, drinking, taking her pills and companionship. Presently I take care of her personal needs, but I would like to teach someone who is willing to take care of these personal needs also. Hospice does a bed bath once a week and also exercises once a week. She is on an indwelling catheter, so no need for intermittent cathing. We live in Deforest.
