Job Description
- Req#: R23733
- Lead and supervise a crew of Carpenters, Concrete Finishers / Masons and Labourers
- Interface with the client and other contractors on site
- Ensure site safety by maintaining a hazard-free environment and enforcing compliance with Ledcor’s health, safety, and environmental standards
- Coordinate work activities with the client, contractors, and other Forepersons to ensure smooth project execution
- Plan and manage resources, equipment, and labour to keep operations efficient.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately.
- Monitor project schedules to ensure work is completed within regular hours and meets deadlines.
- Resolve on-site challenges and proactively manage work sequencing.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a civil construction environment
- Journeyperson Carpenter or Concrete Finisher/Mason
- Strong carpentry or Concrete/Mason trade background with knowledge of industrial construction and related trades.
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid driver's license and clean abstract required
- ESC Confined Space
- Project to commence in April 2025
- Work schedule: 5 days on, and 2 days off plus statutory holidays off
- Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
- This is a local position—candidates must reside in the Greater Edmonton area. No camp accommodations or travel allowances provided
