Overview

Successful candidates will be part of a dive team that utilizes both scuba and surface supplied air, under most weather conditions. Electric Boat Divers perform a wide range of activities related to underwater ships husbandry specific to the submarine industry. Other work to include be required. Water borne maintenance and repair work throughout the shipyard. Divers use a multitude of hydraulic, pneumatic, and hand held tools. Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Surface supplied diving certificate from an ADCI accredited school, or military equivalent
• A six-month probationary evaluation
• Divers must be able to qualify and maintain Q RAD worker qualifications,
• Obtain a secret clearance
• Availability to work all shifts

Preferred:

• Candidates must possess a current diving log book
