Location: Greater Portland Area in Maine (traveling)

Shift: 7:00a - 4:30p (Monday-Friday)

Job Description

We are looking to add experienced frame to finish carpenters to our team in the greater Portland area. Candidates should be proficient in all aspects of carpentry. We are a commercial general contractor that builds a variety of structures, from schools to vet clinics. Our projects are located throughout the greater Portland area, and candidates will be placed in locations that are most convenient to their homes. This role will require a strong understanding of all aspects of carpentry. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of carpentry work, from framing to finishing.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.
• Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other tools.
• Work on commercial construction projects, including schools and vet clinics.
• Ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors on site.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in construction and carpentry.
• Experience in framing and finish carpentry.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Knowledge of rough carpentry techniques.
• Experience with commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
