In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of a diverse and inclusive South West Bridges team delivering key projects including the Bridge construction and maintenance across South West NSW.
This role will see you safely carrying out carpentry trade activities and be hands on on-site working with apprentices and trainees.
This position will require you to be away from home for 90% of the time, however, you will be paid a living away from home allowance that is tax free.
This is an ongoing full-time role available at Wagga Wagga.

About you
We’re seeking a trade qualified carpenter with excellent communication skills that enjoys working towards delivering results in a team environment.
You hold a Carpentry Licence/Trade Certificate - Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent.
You have the ability to identify and report safety and environmental hazards in the workplace and rectify those without direction and report accordingly. You will also have the capability to achieve quality standards and follow established quality procedures within the scope of training provided in the role.
Finally, you hold a current Construction Industry White Card, a current driver’s licence, and are able to work outside normal working hours, attend callouts, travel across the region and stay away from home when needed.
Whilst not essential, a MR Truck Licence and Traffic Control tickets will be highly regarded.
