Join the Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services Department as a Cart Attendant. We are looking for a vibrant and energetic individual to play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of the golf course.

The purpose of this class within the organization is to coordinate and monitor the use of motorized golf carts at the golf course.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduation from high school or successful completion of the GED preferred;
• Some experience in golf course operations preferred; familiarity with golf course operations; knowledge of the game of golf; knowledge of the current rules of golf; knowledge of the rules of etiquette that govern golf; ability to follow instructions;
• Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with golf course patrons; ability to be tactful, diplomatic, and firm in dealing with golf course patrons; and ability to keep accurate records.
• Must successfully pass a background check related to this position prior to any offer of employment or promotion.

Additional Requirements

• Requires shift work to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• The incumbent may be considered “essential personnel” during City emergency situations or at the direction of the City Manager which may include long hours and unusual schedules.
