      Job Description

      As a part of our continued growth, LKQ is seeking a Car Inventory Check In Clerk to join our team! You will be responsible for managing the inbound flow of products to support the company's sales objectives. To excel in this position, you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, and be very organized in tasks. The ideal candidate needs to be very goal orientated and willing to work at a very fast pace while maintaining the quality and accuracy set forth in the job expectations.       Essential Job Duties:

      Receive vehicle at entrance to log vehicles onto the inventory log

      Record vehicle information by data entry

      Assign stock numbers to vehicles to confirm they have been received in AMS

      Deliver all completed paperwork to various departments

      Assist in filing and maintaining reports

      Other duties as assigned

      Will be working outdoors in various weather conditions.

      Requirements

      Education & Experience:

      High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent desired. Up to six months of related experience, supplemented by on-the-job training, to learn duties, nature of work performed, procedures, and work methods, to become familiar with the company's products, locations, machines and equipment, operating methods, and to attain proficiency requirements and to fully assume responsibilities of the job.

      Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

      Computer literate, Able to work with minimal supervision, Ability to drive all makes/models of vehicles, Proven ability to work well in a team environment, Must have good customer service skills, Well organized, accurate worker, with an eye for detail, Must have a valid driver's license and clean abstract.
