      Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Initiate new cases into Legal Server Case Management database, and update disposition information on cases when attorney representation is completed.
      • Verifies all cases are properly initiated, routed, and distributed.
      • Research and retrieve information needed to create cases, including but not limited to JWEB, DEEDS, and other correspondence from staff attorneys.
      • Ability to identify errors or inconsistencies with court records and respond as appropriate. This includes follow-up with PDO staff and other Harris County agencies.
      • Identify potential conflict of interests related to case representation.
      • Maintains confidentiality of case, office, and/or personal information received.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Education and Experience:
      • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
      • Must be detail oriented.
      • Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team setting, in an open office environment.
      • Excellent organization skills, detail oriented.

      • Two (2) years judicial/clerical experience preferred, or an equivalent of education and experience.
      Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
      • Contract
      • Monday – Friday | 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
      Salary:
      • Depends on Qualifications
      • Based on 26 Pay Periods



      Employment may be contingent on passing a drug screen and meeting other standards.
