- Coordinate the IEP process, which includes but is not limited to writing the IEP, facilitating IEP meetings, and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records for all students on caseload, including quarterly progress reports.
- Support the completion of progress monitoring.
- Consult and collaborate with staff members about student needs and progress to facilitate the development of a meaningful IEP
- Schedule, complete, and document all required parent communication in preparation for IEP in compliance with state and federal laws .
- Lead IEP meetings as a member of the IEP team.
- Support school teams in collecting and compiling data for all services in the IEPs.
- Ensure legal compliance with special education timelines and requirements.
- Prepare materials for annual reviews and EDCs
- Communicate instructional and behavioral strategies and accommodations/BIPS to all necessary staff.
- Illinois LBS1 Certificate/Licensure must meet the highly qualified status
- 2 years of instructional or resource experience is preferred except in the case of a new graduate.

JOB SUMMARY: The Case Manager/IEP writer will coordinate the IEP process, which includes but is not limited to writing the IEP, facilitating IEP meetings, and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records for assigned students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to pe rform each essential function satisfactorily.
