      Your Role at Impact:

      Impact.com is on the search for an experienced Cash Accountant to join our amazing team based in sunny CapeTown. This person will be responsible for assisting with the daily and monthly cash requirements of over 77 bank accounts.

      This person will r eport to the Accounting Manager in the Corporate Accounting team.

      What You'll Do:

      • Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
      • Follow up and resolve reconciling differences in a timely manner
      • Extracting and updating cash statements on a daily basis
      • Downloading and archive official bank statements at the end of the month
      • Downloading and archiving bank reconciliations at the end of the month
      • Importing daily cash transactions into Netsuite and archiving daily imports
      • Perform month end adjusting journal entries - mainly operating cash accounts
      • Assist with posting intercompany journal entries as well as interbank transfers denominated in various currencies
      • Perform intercompany reconciliations
      • Complete audit requests
      • Ad hoc projects (e.g. prior period reviews)
      • Assist with resolving queries issued by Management

      What You Have:

      • Completed financial degree, preferably in accounting
      • Previous experience in performing cash reconciliations advantageous
      • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in high growth multi-national organisations
      • Excellent internal stakeholder service and relationship-building skills
      • Experience working across multiple geographies including the US, Europe, SA, Singapore, Australia and China
      • An independent, self-motivated individual who works well under pressure with a positive, service-oriented attitude
      • Self-starter with a great work ethic and an analytical thinker with superior problem solving and decision-making skills
      • Excellent multi-tasker who is always “on it” with stellar time and project management skills; understands the importance of planning in advance to meet deadlines that include multiple review points and iterations
      • Strong communicator, both written & verbal, reliable and responsive to email and phone communications
      • Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information
      • Strong computer skills, including Gmail, google calendar, google docs, and Microsoft office
