      This is a contract role till the the end of October 2023.

      Business Overview:

      The Cash Management Associate, Sr. is responsible for completing the day to day cash management accountabilities as assigned and for performing the more complex functions relating to all FIC related investment fund activity. The Sr also assists the Cash Management Work Leader by working on and taking accountability for departmental projects / initiatives, and providing procedural guidance, training and back up support to CM Associates.

      What You Will Do:

      • As a valued member of the CMIC team, you will be accountable to accurately reconcile and complete the daily net cash reporting to our custodian bank, ensuring daily trade activities are reported correctly to the Fund Accounting group and monitoring fund-of-fund trade reporting.
      • You will also be depended upon to accurately reconcile and maintain oversight of Fidelity trust accounts to maintain customer confidence, safeguard client assets and ensure regulatory compliance. To do so, you will interact with and support other internal Client Service departments.
      • You will interact and connect with our custodian bank, fund accounting and other internal partners to answer inquiries and address and resolve any issues
      • You will authorize wire payments from the trust account to our custodian bank account and money movements between trust and corporate accounts
      • Your role will also be to reconcile the daily trust bank accounts and investigate, and resolve any variances or outstanding items in a timely manner
      • Your strong analytical skills will be required to deliver accurate analysis and reporting
      • As a standout colleague, you will support and participate in departmental and divisional initiatives

      The Expertise You Bring:

      • Knowledge of mutual fund industry standards and DB/DC pension plan
      • Understanding of fund accounting concepts and fund reporting
      • Proficiency in MS Office and Transfer Agency / Recordkeeping applications
      • Strong attention to details and able to work in a fast paced environment
      • Good interpersonal skills, ability to build collaborative partnerships
      • Good verbal and written communication skills
      • Solid problem-solving skills

      We are in search of a candidate with the following:

      • Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in mutual fund and or financial services industry
      • Education: Post-secondary education
      • Licenses : IFIC/CSC is preferred
      • Designation or advanced standing in accounting or equivalent professional accreditation will be an asset.
