      Department Overview:

      The Wisconsin Union, often referred to as "the heart and soul" of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has enhanced the lives of members and visitors since it was founded in 1907. Since 1928, when the doors to Memorial Union opened, the Wisconsin Union has served as the living room of the UW-Madison campus. The Union connects students, faculty, staff, members and visitors through shared cultural, social and recreational events and experiences.

      Anticipated Hours Per Week

      4 to 10

      Schedule:

      • Business hours 8-5 M-F. Primarily working hours would be in the morning (9AM-12PM). Potential for afternoon hours during busy times. Weekend hours will be Saturday and Sundays 2-4 each day.

      Salary/Wage Range:

      Hourly $15.25 to $15.25

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      • Provide excellent customer service to our retail units.
      • Daily deposits and prepare cash for bank.
      • Make and issue cash bags to units.
      • Help units with cash machines Balance safes/machines
      • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications:

      • Candidates must be available over the school year
      • Candidates should be detail oriented, able to follow directions and work independently with limited supervision
      • Previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred
