- Ring up customer orders accurately using a POS system.
- Bag customer orders and provide carry-out services as needed.
- Answer customer inquiries and assist them with their shopping experience.
- Organize and replenish shopping carts and front-end supplies.
- Count cash tills in and out accurately.
- Sanitize high-touch front-end areas to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and disposing of trash.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts.
- Willingness to ask questions and learn about the store and industry.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Accurate cash handling skills and strong money-related math abilities (e.g., making change, calculating percentages).
- Ability to safely handle common allergens, including nuts, seafood, shellfish, wheat, and dairy.
- Must be at least 19 years of age (required to sell alcohol in Idaho).
- Professional appearance and ability to represent Pilgrim’s Market positively.
- Capability to provide and receive constructive feedback for personal and team development.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. repeatedly and twist from side to side.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for the entire shift.
- Vision corrected to 20/20.
- Proficient in operating equipment such as phones, intercom systems, POS systems, credit card machines, and calculators.
