- Experience in Cassandra build pipelines using Anisble, Cloud formation templates, shells
- Cassandra database administration on a multi-datacenter cluster. Must have hands-on experience in setting up Cassandra cluster.
- Designing data models in Cassandra and working with Cassandra Query Language
- Strong understanding of complex inner workings of Cassandra, (gossip protocol, hinted handoffs, read repairs, Merkle trees.)
- In depth knowledge of architecting and creating Cassandra/no SQL database systems.
- Expert in data structure design, modelling in Cassandra
- Worked with large data volumes, including processing, transforming and transporting large-scale data using big data components
- Experience with very large databases and/or data warehousing.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodology and implementations
- Implement a Cassandra Database in an enterprise, Design and Support data migration.
- Lead, participate in gathering business requirements, analysis of source systems, define underlying data sources and transformation requirements, design suitable data model, and develop metadata
- Load data into a data warehouse and assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL related activities
