      Exciting casual Job Opportunity for Final Year and Post-graduate Law Students

      Casual rates apply (HEO5) $52.41 per hour

      8 available positions

      2-3 days a week for 24 weeks with a possibility of extension

As a Research Contracts Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with research funding agreements, contract variations, and milestone submissions.       What You'll Do:

      • Support Research Contracts: Follow up on enquiries, confirm project closures, pursue outstanding contract matters, and ensure compliance.
      • Engage with Stakeholders: Develop and maintain effective communication with researchers, funders, and affiliated organizations.
      • Variety of Tasks: Experience a wide range of responsibilities across two teams, with opportunities to manage simpler contracting matters as you gain experience.
      • Training: Receive initial training on systems and processes, preparing you for success in this role.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Responding to researcher and funder enquiries
      • Compliance checking milestone completions
      • Updating information systems to ensure accuracy
      • Supporting and completing grant contracts, variations, and agreements

      What We're Looking For:

      • Essential Skills:
        • Professional, client-focused service delivery
        • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
        • Ability to interpret complex documentation
        • Attention to detail
        • Competence in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new IT environments
      • Desirable Skills:
        • Legal training
        • Experience in a similar work environment
        • Working towards or completion of a tertiary qualification
