      Casual Sales Associate

      Calgary, AB

      Mollie's Market at District Animal Hospital & Urgent Care on 11st NE Calgary is welcoming Sales Associates to join our brand-new team!

      As our first ever purpose-built community hub, we see our retail space as a central part of our plans to bring pet lovers of all types together under one roof. The Sales Associate will work under the direction of the Retail Manager to provide exceptional service to our guests at the Mollie’s Market retail store . The successful candidate must be passionate about providing guests with seamless, positive shopping experiences by providing excellent customer service.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.

      • Provides outstanding customer service .

      • Engages with guests’ questions and offers excellent advice on products by understanding guests’ needs and preferences.

      • Receives and processes payments using the store point of sale system .

      • Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.

      • Drives sales through engagement of clientele and sharing product knowledge.

      • Processes exchanges, returns, and refunds according to company policies.

      • Maintains a clean and organized retail environment.

      What You Bring

      • You are customer service driven, apply a sales-focused approach, work responsibly and achieve goals in a timely manner.

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , active listening skills , and can engage with a diverse range of customers .

      • Good attention to detail and ability to work in a face-paced environment.

      Qualifications

      • Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.

      • Excellent customer service skills , good communication and interpersonal skills.

      • Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.

      • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
