- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries and product information
- Operate cash registers and process various types of transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, ensuring products are well-presented and correctly priced
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and targets
- Participate in promotional activities and special events as required
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Retail experience is preferred but not essential – we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Job Description
The Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery in Whakatāne is seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Casual Team Members. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable retail experience in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.
Please note this is a casual position to work on an as needed basis - there are no set hours.
