What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Handle all types of catastrophe property claims
- Assess damage, determine liability, and establish reserves
- Prepare estimates and negotiate claims with contractors and policyholders
- Document claim files and issue payments
- Assist field offices and provide operational maintenance

What is Required (Qualifications):

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of claims handling experience, including 2 years of property claims handling experience
- Strong technical knowledge of structural damage repair and valuation techniques
- Successful completion of Associate in Claims (AIC) program preferred
- Proficiency with estimating software preferred
- Appropriate state license and valid driver's license

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Completion of the AIC program
- Proficiency with Symbility or equivalent estimating software
