Job Description
- Req#: CATER007501
- Setup and delivery of catering events with the ability to show creativity and originality in food presentations.
- Maintain equipment stock and recommend purchases.
- Plan menus with Executive Chef.
- Monitor product quality and timeliness.
- Keep abreast of trends and developments with-in the industry.
- Meet with clients to set up events.
- Carry out and report survey results.
- Responsible for maintenance of catering equipment, including vehicle.
- Responsible for cleaning and organizing catering storage area.
- Follow all departmental policies and procedures.
- Operate under HACCP/Food Safety procedures at all times.
- During deliveries, practices road courtesy at all times. Obeys all traffic laws. Demonstrates defensive driving techniques.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- General knowledge of catering and commercial kitchen operations
- Knowledgeable with CaterTrax program
- Ability to function under limited supervision and in fast-paced environments
- Ability to communicate verbally, and understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to present self in a pleasant manner and work collaboratively with a team
- Interpersonal skills including oral communications. Diplomacy and human relation skills to build relationships with those contacted during the course of business
- Deliver friendly and efficient customer service
- Familiarity with personal computer operation
- High School Diploma/GED and 6 months to 1-year experience working in a catering environment.
- ServSafe certification or Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM). Valid California Driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Pay Rate: $21.00 /HR
