      We're hiring a Catering & Events Manager for Alpine Country Club in Highland, Utah.

      Ideal candidates are organized, customer service-centric, and detail-oriented. Additionally, they can strategize the entire vision and process, down to following through on all event and sales planning and execution.

      Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed. This includes full time salaried compensation starting $40k annually.

      Responsibilities of Catering and Events Manager:

      - Respond to Member inquiries in a timely manner, conduct tours and meetings for prospective events, and sell events.
      - Schedule all banquet event functions, prices and prepares event proposals, collects signed contracts and deposits.
      - Plan and coordinate details of catered events to include determining specifications and quantities of goods to order, determining manpower levels, recommending personnel assignments, scheduling space and facilities, and communicating menu information to production staff.
      - Develop, implement and monitor standards of service and coordinate catering activities to ensure that a high quality of production and service is consistently maintained.
      - Helps Members and Club Management Team to plan special events, tournaments, including menus, entertainment, theme, decorations and other aspects.
      - Utilize TripleSeat daily to build and maintain an events prospect database, track all communications and activities with those prospects, and record all sales made.
      - Oversee the development/preparation of contracts for all events.
      - Recommend refinements for catered events to include floral arrangements, table settings and room appointments; recommend the purchase of equipment and supplies.
      - Work with the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef to determine selling prices and menus for catered events.
      - Transmit the necessary information about all events to the appropriate support staff.
      - Ensure smooth execution of events by inspecting finished arrangements and collaborating with appropriate department heads.
      - Ensure that arrangements are made to set up rooms, provide service and clean areas after events.
      - Regularly evaluate services and determine means by which to upgrade quality of catered events.
      - Help develop catering sales budgets and marketing plans.
      - Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

      Education and Experience Requirements

      - Previous experience (3 years minimum) in catering and event planning, preferably in a club setting, and a proven track record of planning and executing weddings and banquets.
      - Present a professional appearance with a pleasant and mature demeanor.
      - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
      -Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented.
      - Must have excellent interpersonal/relationship skills.
      - Must be comfortable in the use of CRM/sales automation systems. (i.e., TripleSeat, etc)
      - Must be able to learn and work with new software programs and platforms. (Jonas, UKG)
      - Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

      Working Conditions:

      - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
      - The employee is often required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls
      - They will occasionally be required to balance, stoop, twist upper body, kneel, and climb.
      - The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally.
      - Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
      - Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, chemicals, pesticides, gasoline, vibration, pollen, dust, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards.
      - Noise level is typically moderate to loud.
      - Work extended hours during golf and holiday season.
      - Work weekends and holidays.
