Position: Sous Chef Job Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise, coordinate and participate in activities of cook and others engaged in preparing, cooking, and serving food Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and customer service standards are met Efficiently prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures Track food use, waste, and consumption Receive and inspect product and supplies for quality and quantity to ensure appropriate inventory Maintain a clean workstation and keep equipment clean and free of debris during service Assist with recipe and menu development Pay & Perks: -Paid Time Off for Full Time Employees -401K for Full Time Employees -Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits for Full-Time Employees The Company: Lessing’s Hospitality Group is comprised of over 100 locations throughout the Northeast and Florida. Salary Range (NY only): $62,400 - $70,000About the company
