      Job Summary

      Sinai Health System (SHS) is one the largest private safety net healthcare systems in Illinois.       Provision of treatments, therapies including medication, to patients of all ages in accordance with physician written orders and in accordance with the organization and department policies and procedures. Has knowledge and training to apply special equipment and techniques in a manner that provides positive patient outcome. Has knowledge and training to assess patients for respiratory care needs and support, and ability to assess treatment or therapy outcome.

      MINIMUM EDUCATION: • One-year hospital, nursing home or paramedic experience within the last two years. • Successful completion of the orientation process. • High School graduate or equivalent MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: • None REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: • Certificate of completion from an approved nurse assistant training program or other appropriate education e.g. nursing or medical student.

      Perform direct and indirect patient care to a specific group of critically ill patients following the plan of nursing care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
