- Practitioner or First Accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
- A qualification that leads to registration with a professional regulatory body (HCPC, GMC, NMC or Social Work England) AND current registration with this professional regulatory body OR A Knowledge Skills Attitude (KSA) equivalence portfolio approved by BABCP as part of your Accreditation as Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary Selby CAMHS team. Selby CAMHS offers getting more help interventions to children and young people within the Selby and rural district. In addition we are commissioned to provide ASC diagnostic assessments and ADHD diagnostic assessments and post-diagnostic support.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will hold an independent caseload of children and young people, providing assessment and cognitive behavioural therapy interventions. They will work alongside family members and carers. They will also support staff development, training, consultations and input into the multi-disciplinary team.

Selby CAMHS is a multi-disciplinary team that comprises a range of roles and professions, including, but not limited to Psychological Therapy Staff, Nurses, Psychiatrists, Speech and Language Therapists, Support Workers, and Administrative support.
