      About You
      • You are competent in testing, inspection, scheduled maintenance, repair and the management of medical equipment in accordance with applicable Australian and International standards and clinical engineering practice.
      • You have extensive knowledge and understanding of work, health and safety legislation and practices.
      • You are self-motivated, with ability to produce high quality work independently within a team environment, managing complex workloads with competing priorities.

      Where you'll be working

      The Biomedical Electronic Technician is to support to the Central Coast Local Health District’s inventory of medical equipment and systems through the application of biomedical engineering practices and established management plans. The position’s focus is:

      • The calibration, repair, scheduled maintenance and inspection of medical equipment in patient treatment areas and biomedical technical workshops
      • Providing technical advice on the correct and safe use, and application of medical equipment.
