- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Management, Science or a Health related degree and/or extensive experience in information analysis and performance reporting preferably within a large healthcare service.
- Demonstrated skills and experience with healthcare information systems and data collections (e.g. the Health Information Exchange, Patient Administration Systems, clinical data collections, Activity Based Management applications, Workforce data collections, etc) or a demonstrated ability to transfer expertise from equivalent systems.
- Well-developed analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills, with the demonstrated capacity to identify trends and issues to support service management and planning.
- Experience with working with confidential data sets and ensuring privacy is maintained as well as ensuring the integrity, reliability and accuracy of all data reported.
- Demonstrated advanced skills with using data analytic and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, or similar.
- Ability to produce training materials and provide training to end users in the use of business intelligence tools and applications.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Analyst will work as a member of the Performance and Analytics team within the Health Information and Business Support unit. The team is responsible for delivery of information analytics and performance reporting outcomes to support the achievement of organisational objectives and Caring for the Coast.
This recruitment may be used to fill future positions via an eligibility list for permanent, full time, part time, temporary and casual positions.
The Performance Analyst will work as a member of the Performance and Analytics team within the Health Information and Business Support unit. The team is responsible for delivery of information analytics and performance reporting outcomes to support the achievement of organisational objectives and Caring for the Coast.
The purpose of the position is to support the Performance and Analytics team produce and deliver daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting, as well as with ad hoc data analytics and reporting.In this role, you will have a strong customer focus and strive for enhanced efficiencies. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of data sources, carry out data quality checks and identify any outliers, gaps, and trends through analyses. You will be responsible for collating and providing data and analytic input into recurring reporting deliverables (having daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting cycles) as well as ad hoc reporting requests. In this role you will also provide user support and training for our ever growing suite of analysis and reporting applications.
