What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review medical records for complete and accurate documentation of diagnoses and procedures
- Initiate and complete queries to ensure accurate data regarding patient visits
- Adhere to established guidelines set forth by industry standards (ACDIS, AAPC, AHIMA)
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate effectively with clients, co-workers, and management to meet specific assignment needs

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of clinical documentation experience
- Current RN license or graduation from medical school with 5+ years of acute care experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating medical records
- Proficiency in using a PC for medical record review and Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and clients

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CCDS or CDIP certification
- BSN in addition to RN license is preferred
