      Position Summary

      u00A0

      The position involves operating a tractor-trailer combination to haul various construction materials including asphalt, road base, and millings in a safe and efficient manner.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations to transport construction materials.
      • Maintain accurate driving logs and comply with all DOT regulations.
      • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
      • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

      Requirements:
      • Valid CDL Class A driveru2019s license with air-brake endorsement.
      • Minimum of 2 yearsu2019 experience driving with a Class A CDL.
      • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
      • Proficient in operating a standard/manual transmission.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
      • Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
      • Reliable, self-motivated, and safety conscious.

      Qualified applicants should possess the following (requirements):u00A0

      • CDL Driveru2019s License, Class A with air-brake endorsement.
      • Class A CDL hauling of aggregates and asphalt materials. Experience with oversize/overweight loads preferred.
      • Must be a self-motivated team player with ability to work safely alone and with co-workers.
      • Must be able to operate a standard transmission.
      • Must have clean Motor Vehicle Record
      • Work is outside in varying weather conditions.
      • Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing.u00A0
      • Must be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic and be able to work with minimal supervision and at high level of accountability to operational requirements.
      • Strong communication skills, both one on one and in group settings within and outside of the organization
      • Must be willing to travel long distances and work flexible night and weekend hours when required. Willing to work various hours including overtime.
