Overview

Folcroft, Pennsylvania Class B Route Driver with Hazmat Endoursement

East Penn Manufacturing is hiring a dedicated regional CDL-B driver! Drive dedicated with East Penn and enjoy a consistent schedule and pay, onsite management, and regular deliveries to dedicated customers. Candidate will also assist with varoius warehouse duties.

This position will pay $26.00 per hour.

Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.

Responsibilities

Driver’s primary responsibility will include various warehouse material handling duties and some delivery and pick-ups at off-site locations.

• Delivers and picks up freight from specified locations daily, such as warehouses, stores, industrial plants, railroad yards, and small businesses.
• Verifies freight with shipping papers.
• Drives to specified locations, applying knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, state and local driving laws, and hazardous material regulations.
• Uses skills in highway navigation as well as maneuvering a vehicle in various situations, such as narrow passageways, heavy traffic, and adverse weather conditions.
• Inspects the vehicle for mechanical and safety defects before and after each trip, and submits a report indicating the vehicle condition.
• Maintains a Driver's Daily log according to Federal regulations.
• Prepares shipping papers for freight received.
• Interacts with customers when delivering or receiving freight or collecting payment for goods delivered.
