      Position Summary u00A0
      The Industrial Electricianu2019s role is to safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical equipment, as well as upkeep of records for sustaining cement operations. u00A0u00A0
      This equipment ranges from small fractional horsepower motors to large medium voltage motors used to start mills and fans.u00A0u00A0

      Requirements u00A0
      • Must be methodical in troubleshooting with Safety and confidence as a top priority.u00A0
      • Must have an excellent safety record and exhibit good safety behaviors.u00A0
      • u00A0 5 years industrial electrical experience required.u00A0
      • Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems including medium and high voltage equipment.u00A0
      • Ability to trouble shoot complex electrical and process problems.u00A0
      • Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics.u00A0
      • Installs, maintains, and repair starters, DC drives, AC drives, & VFDsu00A0
      • Performs maintenance on both new and existing electrical equipment.u00A0
      • Ability to run conduit, pull wires,u00A0repair or replace lights and fixtures.u00A0
      • Performu00A0ground and megger testing as well as understand the testing results.u00A0
      • u00A0 Ability to inspect, PM, and repair motors.u00A0
      • Ability to provide clear and precise feedback on work done including repairs, PM, and inspections.u00A0
      • Basic understanding of PLCu2019su00A0
      • Basic understanding of vibration analysisu00A0
      • Provide leadership and assists in technical training.u00A0
      • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.u00A0
      u00A0 Preferred Education and Experience u00A0
      • 5+ yearsu2019 experience in cement or similar industrial environment such as mining, paper mills etc.
      • 2-year technical degree in electrical or comparable experience preferredu00A0
      • Comparable Military Trainingu00A0
      • Certified / licensed Journeyman Electrician preferred.
      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities u00A0
      • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)u00A0
      • Must be willing to be on call.u00A0
      • Working knowledge of high voltage electrical systems requiredu00A0
      • Skilled in the use of hand tools, test instruments and electrical construction toolsu00A0
      • Experience with PLCu2019s a plusu00A0
      • Outstanding vendor relations skills (internal and external contractors)u00A0
      u00A0PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
      • A high degree of manual dexterity and accuracy required
      • Must be able to use hand tools and electronic test equipment such as multi-meters and scopes
      • Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds from ground to waist as required
      • Visual acuity, speech & hearing, hand & eye coordination
      • Walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, balancing, repetitive motion, driving, and squattingu00A0for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours)
      • Must use proper Personal Protective Equipment as required
      u00A0 u00A0W ORKING CONDITIONS
      Works in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, ice, rain, and in high humidity, and is required to work in all plant environments. The incumbent will be exposed to vibrating equipment and mechanical and electrical hazards and heights.u00A0.u00A0May have exposure to dust, cement, clay, gypsum, sand, diesel exhaust, lubricants, solvents, various fuels, etc. (See MSDSs)
