What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Install shelves, run and sew cat/fiber cable, fibers, and secondary power inside an established frame
- Perform test and turn up on installations
- Demonstrate proficiency in the installation/test and turn up of network switches and equipment
- Follow safety protocols when working with small tools and climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolds
- Handle heavy physical effort (up to 50 pounds) and exposure to chemicals, solvents, and other hazards

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Prior experience working in Central Office/Data Center environments
- Proficiency in installing networking/switching equipment
- Ability to travel and work overnight when necessary
- Possession of personal tools
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Ciena installation experience
- Additional certifications in telecommunications or networking
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
