Central Supply Coordinator/Unit Secretary (TEMPORARY)

Now Hiring: Central Supply Coordinator/Unit Secretary
Qualifications :
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Previous long-term care experience ordering supplies
· Computer knowledge
· Ability to work independently or part of a group
Responsibilities:
· Fill requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment
· Stock supply rooms and nutrition rooms on each unit with medical supplies
· Ensure inventory is updated as required, when receiving/issuing supplies and equipment
· Organize storage and catalog locations of supplies and equipment for efficient handling and to prevent deterioration
· Pass out ice water to residents, make beds, and answer residents call lights.
· Report on all accidents and incidents you observe as soon as possible.
· Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manger.
· Answer phones as necessary
· Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator
