What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule resources for obstetrical services induction and caesarean section
- Proficiently schedule and pre-register patients using a computerized scheduling system
- Provide special instructions and directions to facilities and departments
- Work closely with Patient Financial Services and Admitting Nurse to ensure accurate completion of pre-visit tasks
- Maintain outstanding customer service and relationships with patients and healthcare professionals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Typing speed of 35 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Intermediate computer skills
- Analytical skills to anticipate process roadblocks
- Detailed focus on accuracy and completeness of examination documentation requirements

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- College education or coursework in medical terminology and/or coding
- At least one year of obstetrical experience within the last 24 months, with understanding of staffing and scheduling requirements related to obstetrical
