- This is medium work requiring the exertion of 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Work requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping; visual acuity is required for reading, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, use of measuring devices, operation of machines, and operation of motor vehicles or equipment
- Work is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and oils.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
- Applicants must pass a background investigation, criminal history record check back stress screening and drug test.
- Applicants must be capable of receiving and understanding written and verbal instruction in English.
Primary responsibilities include emptying office trash & recycling cans, cleaning and restocking the washrooms, dust and wet mop floors, vacuum carpets, clean walls and windows, other general housekeeping assignments. Duties may include preparation and tear down of event related equipment including chairs, tables, staging, etc.HOURS : Approximately 19 hours per week.
Positions at the Centre work 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. during week & weekend hours may be required.
