- A Cerner Pharmnet Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the Pharmnet module within the Cerner EHR system, which focuses on medication management and pharmacy workflows. Here are some key responsibilities and requirements for this role:
- Configure and maintain the Rx module to ensure it meets the needs of the healthcare organization.
- Analyze and optimize pharmacy workflows to improve efficiency and patient safety.
- Should be able to co-ordinate with Integration analyst to pass on system requirements for Rx workflow.
- Knowledge on HL7 is mandatory, additional experience on FHIR is good to have.
- Provide support to pharmacy staff, troubleshooting any issues related to the Rx system.
- Should be proficient with various Rx workflows such as – Pharmacy and Robot Orders, Pharmacy Charges, Cart fill orders, Bin load unloads of the pharmacy cabinets.
- Train pharmacy and clinical staff on the effective use of the Pharmnet module.
- Additional knowledge on other Rx systems such as Omnicell, Pyxis or McKesson Rx is good to have.
- Ensure seamless integration of Pharmnet with other Cerner modules and healthcare systems.
- Manage medication data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Experience in Clinical Cerner tools such as Powerchart, Cerner Pharmnet etc.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, life sciences, or a related field.
- Experience with Cerner Pharmnet and other Cerner EHR modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in data management, and excellent communication skill.
