What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare, review, edit, and submit certification applications to regulatory agencies
- Create and maintain responses to regulatory agencies
- Interpret regulatory language and convert it into requirements
- Serve as a technical authority on emissions compliance requirements
- Gather information for certification applications and analyze them
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in vehicle emissions certification and compliance reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence others
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze complex data sets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with emissions and fuel economy regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Automotive, trucking, or bus industry experience is preferred
- Technology-oriented industries will be an advantage
- Strong business, financial, and analytical acumen
