- High school graduate or equivalent.
- RHIT or CCS coding certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital coding experience.
- ICD-10, CPT AND HCPCS coding knowledge.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

We are currently accepting resumes & applications for a Remote Work opportunity in our Medical Records department. This position will require initial training onsite in Crestline, Ohio but will then move to remote.
JOB SUMMARY
Accountable for conversion of diagnoses and treatment procedures into codes using an international classification of diseases. Requires skill in the sequencing of diagnoses and procedures to optimize reimbursement. Ensures that records are coded in an accurate and timely manner. Holds appropriate AHIMA certification. Reports to Coding Manager.
