      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Accurately interpret and code billable provider services, ensuring correct ICD 10 and CPT coding
      - Assist the Coding Coordinator with educational efforts for the billing department and other applicable staff
      - Monitor and correct claim rejections and clearinghouse errors to ensure compliance
      - Work closely with providers to correct coding errors and report patterns of errors to the Revenue Cycle Manager
      - Participate in quality projects and serve as a backup to billing functions as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma required
      - Minimum of two years of billing experience required; experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is preferred
      - Extensive knowledge of medical terminology required
      - Medical Billing or Auditing certification from AHIMA or AAPC required
      - Excellent computer skills and knowledge of insurance industry standards required

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
      - Additional certifications or training related to coding and billing practices
      - Previous involvement in quality improvement projects within a healthcare setting
