- Candidates may also qualify for the CHT pathway through current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Respiratory Therapist (RT).
- 40-hour training at a UHMS approved course in Hyperbaric Team training or certification of same is on file.

Certified Hyperbaric Technologist - Physician LiaisonJob Description Summary
We are seeking a Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) to join our growing team in the Hyperbaric Medicine department. The CHT is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chamber and related systems, providing support for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) under the direction of a licensed physician. This role requires strong attention to safety, excellent patient care skills, and technical expertise. The job description of the Hyperbaric Technician is in accordance with the requirements of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), The Joint Commission (TJC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
Experience:
1 Year prior hyperbaric experience, clinic experience, or EMS experience required.
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Required.
