  Job Description

  The job duties include:

  1. Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, circuits, and equipment in accordance with Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
  2. Reading blueprints.
  3. Running and bending conduit, wiring and terminating devices, and performing quality control testing and troubleshooting.
  4. Responding to service calls, including emergency calls, nights/weekends/overtime, as required.
  5. Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in new and renovation construction settings, both residential and commercial.
  6. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving moderately heavy objects.
  7. Communicating effectively with customers, project managers, apprentices, vendors, and other tradespeople.
  8. Troubleshooting electrical problems and determining the necessary repairs.
  9. Identifying materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects.
  10. Evaluating customer requests and providing work order descriptions and pricing for projects.

  The job requirements include:

  1. A Journeyman/Electrician license for the state of CA with at least 5 years of experience in the field.
  2. The ability to use and understand proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  3. The ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
  4. Possessing reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and basic hand tools.
  5. The ability to lift moderately heavy objects as necessary.
  6. Proficiency in navigating smartphone-based technology.
  7. A professional appearance and personality.
  8. A positive attitude.
  9. The ability to work as a team player and independently.
  10. Following established processes and procedures.
  11. Operating with safety as a primary concern for self, co-workers, and the customer.
  12. Experience with camera installation and/or surveillance equipment is desired but not required.
  13. Low Voltage experience is desired but not required.
