      • BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art, 48,000-square-foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs, and three private infusion rooms for families.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform clerical and clinical duties under the direction of a physician and or registered nurse
      • Clerical duties may include scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, and maintaining medical records
      • Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and administering medications as directed by a physician

      Qualifications

      Job Requirements:

      • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA or equivalent); Current or must be attained within three (3) months of hire
      • Current BLS certification

      Preferred Job Requirements:

      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • Previous similar clinic experience
      • Previous experience with EMR systems
      • One year experience in physician’s practice
