What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive, triage, and respond to inbound requests from various stakeholders regarding patient care
- Assist with virtual care activities, including gathering medical history and communicating test results
- Support patients and team members with video visit technology to ensure timely connections with clinicians
- Handle referrals, pharmacy inquiries, and authorization of services and medications
- Perform administrative and operational duties as assigned while adhering to privacy policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
- 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care
- Knowledge of medical/legal issues and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Ability to demonstrate the necessary skills to provide care, including age-specific assessments
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least 1 year of experience in telehealth
- Managerial or lead CMA experience
- Effective communication skills with a compassionate and professional demeanor
- Superior time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to adapt and learn new methods for task completion
