Job Description

- Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.
- Support safe resident transfers, including lifting, positioning, and mobility assistance using proper techniques.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental status to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including changing linens, ensuring personal spaces are tidy, and promoting hygiene.
- Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents, creating a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Assist during recreational activities to encourage engagement, social interaction, and physical activity.
- Monitor and assist with dietary needs, ensuring residents are hydrated and have their nutritional needs met.
- Accurately document care activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Florida.
- Dedication to improving residents’ quality of life with a professional and caring attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or assisted living environment (preferred but not required).
