    • Supervise and evaluate Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) program in conjunction with Nursing Program Manager.
    • Responsible for Program Administration and Compliance
      • Ensure the CNA program complies with Ariz. Admin. Code § R4-19-802 and Title 42, CFR Part 483, Subpart D.
      • Maintain program approval and renewal with AZBN, submitting required reports and documentation.
      • Monitor and enforce HIPAA, FERPA, OSHA, and Fair Labor Standards Act - Child Labor Rules within the program.
      • Ensure proper record-keeping of student training hours, certifications, attendance, and compliance documents.
      • Ensure instructors meet AZ State Board of Nursing qualifications and ensure there are sufficient instructors to provide for a clinical ratio not to exceed 10 students per instructor

      • Track student progress, attendance, and required certifications (e.g., BLS, TB tests, flu shots).
      • Manage drug testing and fingerprinting in collaboration with an outside entity, ensuring compliance with Arizona requirements.
    • Oversee student enrollment, ensuring students meet eligibility requirements and complete all necessary documentation.

      • Plan and coordinate the CNA Pinning Ceremony, ensuring a professional and celebratory event for students and their families.
      • Organize end-of-year job fairs and employer networking events to connect graduates with job opportunities.
    • Communicate with registrar, counselors, and instructors regarding student enrollment and classroom access.
    • Notify families and students of required vaccinations, documentation deadlines, and testing schedules.

    • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Arizona, is active and in good standing per A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 15.
    • Minimum of two years’ experience as an RN at least one year of which is in the provision of long-term care facility services.
    • Experience as a CNA Program Coordinator or clinical instructor. Preferred
    • Familiarity with TMU, My Clinical Exchange, PowerSchool, Google Classroom, and Google Workspace. Preferred
    • Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred
    • Experience within an educational program. Preferred
    • Current immunization record or proof of immunity
    • Proof of MMR immunization required unless born prior to January 1, 1957
    • Negative TB test (within the last year)
    • Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain one
    • Valid Arizona Driver’s License

      Salary Range: $46,350.78 – 71,790.55 Dependent on experience and level of education

      Summary :
      The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Pima JTED CNA program across multiple campuses, ensuring compliance with Arizona State Board of Nursing (AZBN) regulations and federal guidelines. The Coordinator plays a key role in student enrollment, clinical site coordination, instructional support, compliance monitoring, and faculty collaboration. This position ensures a high-quality educational experience that prepares students for CNA certification and employment in healthcare.
