      Job Summary

      Novant Health is seeking a CNA to work Saturday, Sundays and 1 day during the week.

      • Schedule: 7 pm - 7 am, night shift, full-time (36 hours a week)
      • Department: 9 West Oncology
      • Location: Forsyth Medical Center

      Our 9-West Oncology unit boasts 34 beds and a supportive team environment. With a patient to nurse ratio of 4:1, you'll have the opportunity to provide personalized care and focus on disease and symptom management for patients battling cancer, leukemia, and lymphoma. Additionally, our team is actively involved in cutting-edge treatments like stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapy.

      Qualifications

      • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
      • Experience:
        • One year of relevant experience, preferred.
        • Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
      • Licensure/Certification:
        • Completion of NAI program, required.
        • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
        • Medication Safety - AME, required.
        • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
      • Additional Skills Preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
